Saxeden network gives founders access to Automl

HS Mittweida

The Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is a German University of Applied Sciences in Saxony. It offers a wide range of courses in science, technology, art, economy and social sciences. With over 14,000 students, she is one of the largest universities for applied sciences in Germany.

The Challenge

As a Saxeeder network, which is located at the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, it is our endeavor to convey to students entrepreneurial and independent thinking and to sensitize opportunities.

The Solution

The students have received access and were able to familiarize themselves with the workspace. The focus was on the use of Automl. With a self -identified application, the students create data records, determined various labels and trained several models. Iterations was refined by expanding the training data and improvement in labels.

The Highlight

In the Idea Camp, student teams worked on the semester of the problem from the problem of socially relevant and research-oriented topics, through the solutions to the formation of ideas and prototype creation. Team "Ki Melanom Support" is winner of the prototype competition with 40% of the votes.
